CWA Local 4502 is offering members a $50 incentive $50 (only one per member, per calendar year) for joining local arts/sciences/historical organizations (ASH). The membership or subscription must be valued at $50 or more. Members will receive a $50 gift card (can choose from Kroger, Target or Cameron Mitchell Restaurants).

This program will be offered during an annual open-enrollment period. During open enrollment, the member will RSVP via email to: ASH@CWA4502.org. Please indicate which gift card you prefer.

There is a 2-week window to pick up in the union hall between 9am – 5 pm*. Members must pick up in person; photo ID & the attraction membership card required (present a non-expired card or recent purchase confirmation / receipt). If gifting a membership, you must provide the purchase confirmation and receipt.

2019 New hires/promoted employees can participate once they establish CWA membership. Going forward, new CWA members coming on after open-enrollment can participate until the end of the calendar year. Non-members can join Local 4502 and then have one month to participate; only one $50 incentive will be granted per member per calendar year.

Yesterday, President Dave McCune called his last Board Meeting to order. He has retired after 37 plus years of service to the City and 11 years of service as an officer to this union. Although I knew Dave as a light-hearted, fun loving guy before I became an officer in this union. After becoming an officer, I learned the Dave was a fighter for our union, for our contract, for our members and their families, and for working people in general. He will be missed by those that worked with him and knew him. Dave McCune, Congratulations on your retirement. There is one more time to say good bye to Dave tonight starting at 5:00 p.m. at Millers Ale House on Olentangy River Road. Please drop in and see him.

Happy to be at the Franklin County Democratic Party Salute to Achievement to honor Hugh Dorian and Rick Pfeiffer.

CWA 4502 and CWA District 4 will be sponsoring 20 bus seats to Washington D.C. for the People’s Climate March. Bus transportation will be available, leaving at about 11:55 p.m. Friday night, April 28 and returning at about 3 or 4 a.m. Sunday morning, April 30. We will provide space on the bus on a first-come, first-serve basis with members getting first priority.

Entries for a seat on the bus will be accepted by email starting on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 9:00 am. To be considered for a free seat on the bus, send an email to dhmccune@cwa4502.org, swilson@cwa4502.org, AND gcastlin@cwa4502.org. Only email entries received between 9 a.m., Monday, March 27 and Friday, April 14 at 3:30 p.m. will be considered. Each email should include the name of the member requesting a seat and any non-members requesting seats.
